Founded in January 2023 in Gasabo district, Nduba sector, Inshuti z'Umuryango (IZU) focuses on enhancing financial stability for our members through savings and responsible lending.

Our approach is simple and transparent:

• Each share is valued at 500 RWF, with a 200 RWF penalty per share for late contributions.
• Contributions are accepted from Monday to Friday until 3:30 PM. Penalties apply from 3:30 PM Friday until Sunday for any late payments.
• Loans are offered based on the total value of your contributions and cannot exceed this amount. A 5% interest is automatically charged upfront, and the remaining balance is disbursed to the borrower.
• If a loan is not repaid on time, the loan and interest are combined to create a new loan amount.
• Loans are only approved if there are no pending or previously approved loans.
• At the end of each year, we distribute dividends to all members based on their shares and contributions.
